Postmortem

Overall, our project turned out well, but there is definitely room for improvement. To begin, one of the things that went well with our project was the general rules to final product. We found that our project rules were fairly simple. The "language" can easily be understood by all players with no confusion. Another thing that went well was the creation of the website and all our posts. Prior to posting our updates on our blog, we created google documents so we all had a chance to write what we wanted to include. We did this for all our write-ups as well. This made it easy to post on the website and our blog made it easy to have all our posts in one section. The communication between our group members also went well. We all communicated through Facebook messenger and we found this was really effective because it was easy to update each other about what tasks still needed to be completed.

As mentioned, there was definitely room for improvement for our final product. The first thing we could have done better was the creation of the puzzle. Rather than creating it ourselves, we should have gave yourselves enough time to order a puzzle online. By ordering a puzzle online that was made by a company, the pieces of our puzzle would have been able to have a more natural fit. Another thing that could have gone better would be the questions on Twine. We found that some of the questions were too obvious on which was the "better" answer, so we could have change them to make them more difficult. We also could have labeled the lines on our mad-lib story that corresponded to the puzzle piece to avoid confusion on which word to write.

If we had the chance to do this again, we would have created something that was more educational. Aside from the facts we put into our Twine game after the player selects their answer, there wasn't a big educational factor to this project. The presentation of the overall project could have been made better as well. We could have made the boxes of our puzzle pieces more futuristic.

Considering how everything was made from scratch, it is clear that we put a lot of time and effort into our project and despite the flaws, we are still confident with what we've created.
